The night started with everyone surviving the fight. That really had to do with one big factor. Lauren's haunting that made 3 straight strength rolls against the big bad demon sorcerer, keeping him in limbo in the spirit world. Things would have been very different had that thing had been able to cast a spell or 2(and there would have been a VERY good chance that at least Kim would have been toasted).
Then there was talking to the new guy. Why he came here from New Orleans, his meeting Stewart, and casting the big crow spell. Everyone was so beat up that we skipped 2 days. Luckily the voodoo priest is very good at healing and Kim and Lauren are actually functioning somewhat well. You talked to Scott(Squishy) and cross referenced with Houngan to understand about the mystery demons' lair. Houngan thought of 2 ways to attack the lair, but only brought up one to you all.
I tried to recap the various plots happening, but I was tired and I fear I rambled a bit and forgot things. I think I may make a thread in general discussion just going over plot points. We have had some big breaks between games and I think it would help. I had originally thought the recaps would do it, but some of these plots go back a ways and it would be a lot of reading.
The night ended with the twins showing up and telling Phillip to have everyone ready the next morning to jump to a way far off hell dimension, to find and kill Trend Hile's body.
Great night! 3 xp for everyone! |
