So, a Missile Deflection bought up to deflect anything, simulating the chance that the guy will miss? This is a one on one thing, so a reflection is probably out of it. The odds of something thrown or a magical projectile doing a 180 turn, is not really a tweak of fate thing.

Though for your other idea, if tall buildings are around, pieces could fall off of buildings. A big ass energy blast, maybe at one hex area, would work. Or if the building are tall enough a ranged killing attack could even be used I suppose. Wait I can tell you the details of the area of the fight. You have to go there to call the council after all. You will be fighting in the east end of downtown St. Paul. So, there will be some very tall building around. You aren't fighting by the tallest, but there is at least one in the teens or low twenties of stories and most above 5.

Could the champion of akasoth hit himself or drop an attack? Will he/she/it use a weapon or just try and smite Cornelius with Unholy fists of power?

You know nothing about the champions that Akasoth will send forth. Generally speaking I can't see any but very specific scenarios where someone could be made to just hit themselves with this set of powers. The attack would have to be some sort of guided attack that could change direction once launched or that swirls all over the place.


For dropping an attack, if the champion is using a weapon, yes. Some do, like Mango. Many just use claws, fists, teeth, and/or magic. Having a power in the hopper for that would be very useful if this is a weapon wielding demon. Do you want to design one Tim? I could see it in a number of ways. Mind Control, telepathic command, only to drop weapon, would be one way.

Tim, I will do my best to show up on the early side Wednesday, so you can ask any final questions and get organized. I know last week and this weekend was sort of eaten up by getting the new character ready of Todd's game.

Well, I've been racking my brain, and I can't think of anything else that's fitting the bill. I'm sure that when I'm in the midst of getting my ass handed to me, I'll have lots of ideas, but at the moment, I got nothin'.

Yeah, you have a pretty good selection here. What I want you to do for tonight is have all you powers written down(or typed out if you would rather put them in Notepad or something). Name, effect/dice, points, end cost. That shouldn't take you long and will make the combat go much faster. Since you will also probably be using them at various powers levels, as the situation dictates, this will also make that part easier.
